Complete Shower Base Repair & Retiling
A leaking shower base had caused cracking tiles and hidden structural damage. On removal, we found the walls were gyprock and had never been waterproofed, allowing moisture to seep through, swell the timber hob, and eventually split the fiberglass membrane—making the leak even worse.
To ensure a lasting fix, we replaced all damaged timber, packed out the walls to make the fibro flush with the gyprock, and installed water-resistant fibro sheeting and a Hebel hob. The area was then fully waterproofed to Australian standards and left to cure before passing a 24-hour flood test.
We then screeded the shower base, install new tiles with precision, and applied high-quality grout and silicone for a seamless finish. Finally, we fitted the shower screen, restoring the shower to a durable, leak-proof condition.
