Shower Renovation & New Ceiling Downstairs

Client's shower base was leaking and needed total shower renovation and repairs to downstairs' water damaged ceiling & walls

• Repairs to leaking shower base. 
• The shower base was about 50 years old and had started to leak through the ceiling down stairs. 
• Removed one row of tiles around the walls, removed the copper tray and the shower base. 
• Installed a fan and allowed it to dry over 2 days. 
• The timber was sound, so we installed new pvc waste pipes for shower and bath, installed waterproofing and allowed it to cure, then flood tested for 24hrs. 
• Installed new screed and render, tiled walls and floor, grouted and silicone the shower base. Installed a new shower screen. 
• The downstairs ceiling, we removed and replaced the rotten timber and gyprock.
• Installed angles then set and sand the gyprock, painted the walls, installed a vent for easy access. 
• Removed all rubbish off site.
