New Shower Cubicle Install In Unit Complex

The client’s shower base was leaking and rusting the metal door frame to the toilet. The back of the shower wall which is in the toilet was wet and blistering the paintwork.

• After removing the tiles and sheeting, we found the walls had never been waterproofed, so the water would soak through the tile joints and fibro, then through the brickwork into the toilet.
• Replaced some damaged pipework, installed a new mixer, and installed a new custom-made window.
• Battened out the wall to suit the new window and sheeted the rest.
• Waterproofed the floor and walls, allowed the product to cure and flood test for 24 hrs.
• Screeded floor with correct falls, and tiled walls and floors to the client’s specifications.
• Epoxy grouted walls and floor for low maintenance.
• Installed grab rail and fittings, then installed the shower screen.
• Installed new toilet.
